The SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF COMMERCE (or "SIC" as it is more popularly known) was founded in 1947, and boasts of being the first "Business" School established in Singapore. Over the last half a century, more than 30,000 aspiring individuals have upgraded their education and careers through business, accounting and law courses at SIC. Many of our current alumni are well placed in managerial and senior executive positions in SMEs and MNCs, as well as in the legal and accounting professions.

Today, SIC is regarded as the leading business and law school in Singapore offering a wide range of degree and diploma programmes from internationally recognised universities and institutions.

Recently, SIC has expanded to 5 different campuses: SIC Main Campus at Middle Road, SIC Shenton Way, SIC Serangoon Central, SIC Bartley & SIC Tampines.

:: SIC Main Campus

The SIC main campus is located at 250 / 252 Middle Road (two separate 3-storey buildings) and occupies an area of about 30,000 square feet. The fully air-conditioned buildings consists of 14 classrooms which includes one high-tech computer lab, one auditorium and 5 board rooms. The library with over 6,000 volumes occupies one entire floor of one of our 2 buildings.

This campus functions primarily as a business school with business and IT related programmes from UOL, LSE, Northumbria University, CSU, University of Cambridge International Examinations & LCCI.

:: SIC Shenton Campus

SIC Shenton Campus, located at Shenton House just opposite the Singapore Exchange building, is the latest addition to the SIC campuses. Recently renovated at a cost of more than S$2 million, this new location adopts state of the art teaching technology such as wireless net surfing. The facilities are all modern and designed to meet the demands of working professionals.

The Shenton Campus houses the SIC Law and Graduate schools and caters to postgraduate and Law programmes from UOL, LSE, Northumbria University & Flinders University.

:: SIC Bartley Campus

SIC Bartley Campus occupies a site area of more than 9 acres and providing full boarding for up to 500 international students, is located right next to the prestigious Maris Stella High School. Being located almost in the centre of Singapore allows for easy accessibility, - it is only about 20 minutes away from the busy and bustling downtown business and shopping districts. At the same time, parents and friends visiting the premises will be pleasantly surprised to find a quiet and ambient environment with plenty of greenery, and modern facilities.

The international student hostel has excellent accommodation and sports facilities, including a football field, 2 basketball courts, a multi-purpose hall and a lecture hall. All the rooms are carpeted and fully air-conditioned. The dining hall serves excellent meals and can seat 180 persons comfortably. Special food requirements can also be arranged.

:: SIC Serangoon Central Campus

SIC Serangoon Central Campus, located in Serangoon Central Drive, offers a whole spectrum of internationally recognised English Language courses from certificate programmes to diploma and degree courses, from world-renowned institutions that include the University of London and the University of Cambridge.

SIC is ISO 9000 certified. Faculties from the respective universities make audit checks on our systems and admissions procedures once every 2 years to ensure compliance. The SIC internal audit committee also conducts quarterly audits to ensure that our systems and procedures are in order.
